The Innovation Campus pursued start-ups with extraordinary ideas and innovative solutions in the DroneTech industry, and unsurprisingly, we found them. The pitching den type event consisted of two groups: start-ups in the scale-up phase and entrepreneurs with brilliant ideas utilising DroneTech.Ā VIEW WINNERS SLIDE PACK

Scale up phase:
1st Place
Delta Scan
Beyond the 3D model, Delta Scan digitises the world around us to create powerful analytical 3D tools allowing for the extraction of engineering value. Combining cutting edge drone platforms and scanning technology with 3D digitisation, Artificial Intelligence and engineering analysis principles, Delta Scan provides professional solutions to solve the industriesā most significant challenges. Founded in 2018, the company has disrupted inspection, digitisation, and infrastructure management on industrial sites, mines, refineries, and commercial buildings. They strive to improve efficiency, bring down costs, and provide comprehensive information to make better-informed decisions.

AutonoSky
AutonoSky was founded to drive the innovation of aerial systems in the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) industry. Their industry-specific approach and their passion for using drones to save lives lead to them presently designing drone technology to assist with Rescue, Fire and Security operations.
AutonoSky is also in the final stages of being granted an RPAS Operators Certificate, enabling them to work with organisations by applying our technology where it matters.

RBI Drone Tech
RBI Drone Tech provides aerial data solutions and other professional remote piloted aircraft services that cater to telecommunications, engineering (civil), and petrochemical industries. An essential product of theirs is a 3D Model along with detailed, accurate analytics that a client will be able to interact with and view at any time for visual referencing or take apart for personal customisations. This data can be used to inspect, upgrade & maintain structures with critical safety, accuracy & time in mind. Other services also include aerial pre-site development photography and CAD-based data for any sites/models.

Taurus Energy
TAURUS Energy Services is a commercial company registered in terms of South African law. TAURUS runs a liquefied petroleum gas distribution business and an environmental and energy consulting service, operating from the John Montague Centre in Milnerton cape town. TAURUS is a black woman-owned business founded in 2017 by two industry professionals with more than forty years of combined energy industry experience. The company strives to be the preferred reliable supplier of clean energy solutions. It aims to use Lidar technology already on the market to identify risk areas onsite, using appropriate software. Once identified, drones will collect physical samples (air, water, etc.) to be analysed. This service will allow for detailed audits that look to mitigate environmental impacts.

The top three winners of the scale-up phase have been rewarded a 6-month incubation programme through TechTribe and exclusive mentorship with experienced individuals within the DroneTech sector.
